Look for a companion, not just a number.

Place every weight on one of the two pans. The total on the left must equal the total on the right.

A complete balance for collection one: 11 puzzle units per side.

All six weights begin in the tray. Their numbers are puzzle units, not money or a valuation of precious metals.

Select a weight once to place it on the left pan, again to move it to the right, and again to return it to the tray.

The balance tilts towards the heavier pan. Read the totals as you decide which pieces belong together.

Use every weight and make both totals equal to finish. Try three different collections. Hint places one weight on a valid side.

Controls are labelled for touch and keyboard use. Game progress is temporary; a page reload starts again.
